PSL Mid-Season Transfer Rumours Heat Up as Mapisa, Mandiranga, Teguru and Gurirab Spark Major Transfer Talk Across Clubs

The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League mid-season transfer window is beginning to take shape, with several clubs already linked to potential moves involving both local and international players as teams look to strengthen their squads for the second half of the 2026 campaign.

Hardrock FC goalkeeper Martin Mapisa has reportedly attracted interest from two of his former clubs, Dynamos and MWOS FC, in what could develop into a loan move aimed at securing regular game time. The goalkeeper, who has recently been sidelined through injury, is said to be considering his options after finding opportunities limited at Hardrock FC, where captain Tonderai Mateyaunga has been preferred as the first-choice goalkeeper. While discussions are still at an early stage, both Dynamos and MWOS are believed to be monitoring the situation closely as they assess possible reinforcement between the posts.

In another developing story, former Dynamos and CAPS United forward Emmanuel Mandiranga is reportedly training with Highlanders FC as he attempts to revive his top-flight career. Mandiranga, who is currently a free agent after his contract with Manica Diamonds expired in December, is understood to be seeking a return to competitive football. His presence at Highlanders training has sparked speculation that the Bulawayo giants could be considering a short-term deal or assessment period before making a final decision.

Meanwhile, Manica Diamonds are facing the possibility of losing midfielder Charles Teguru during the upcoming transfer window due to unresolved contractual issues. Reports suggest the player has not received his signing-on fee and outstanding salary payments, a situation that has attracted interest from Dynamos and Hardrock FC. Both clubs are believed to be monitoring developments closely, with Teguru’s contract situation making him a potential free transfer option if the dispute is not resolved. The midfielder is also said to have been on the radar of interested clubs during the previous transfer window, but a move did not materialise at the time.

Elsewhere, Scottland FC striker Isaskar Gurirab’s future at the club has reportedly become uncertain, with suggestions that the Namibian forward could be involved in a potential swap deal involving FC Platinum defender Nickson Nyasulu. Nyasulu is believed to be attracting interest from several PSL clubs, including Hardrock FC and CAPS United, as discussions around a possible mid-season reshuffle continue. However, these reports remain unconfirmed at this stage as negotiations are still understood to be ongoing.

In addition, FC Platinum are said to be close to completing the signing of midfielder Mcebisi Moyo following his departure from Botswana side Sua Flamingoes. The midfielder, who previously featured for Tsholotsho and TelOne, has returned to Zimbabwe after a five-year spell abroad and is expected to bolster the Zvishavane-based side as they look to strengthen their squad depth for the remainder of the season.
The transfer market continues to generate attention as clubs assess their performances so far and identify key areas for reinforcement ahead of the decisive second half of the campaign. More movements are expected as negotiations intensify across the league in the coming weeks.
Transfer updates compiled from various local football reports and commentary. Manica Diamonds midfielder Charles Teguru update is according to Soccer24, while the rest of the rumours are attributed to Tafadzwa “Sticks” Chigandiwa.
