Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed that four Zimbabwean players will remain at the club following the release of their official retained list for the 2026/27 season.

Munetsi, who recently returned from a loan spell at French club Paris FC, continues to play an important role within the Wolves setup and is regarded as a key midfield option thanks to his experience, leadership, and physical strength.

Young attacking midfielder Tawanda Chirewa has also been retained, with the club continuing to closely monitor his development after gaining valuable first-team experience in the previous campaign.

Leon Chiwome, one of Wolves’ emerging attacking prospects, remains part of the club’s long-term project as he continues his progression through the squad pathway, while Ethan Sutherland has also been confirmed as part of the retained group for the new season.
