Hardrock FC Unveil Eswatini Duo Thubelihle Mavuso and Yekisizwe Khumalo

Hardrock FC have officially unveiled Eswatini stars Thubelihle Mavuso and Yekisizwe “Yeki” Khumalo as their newest signings as the club continues to strengthen its squad in the Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.


The two players arrive from Eswatini top-flight side , where they established themselves among the standout performers in the MTN Premier League.

Mavuso, a talented midfielder, joins Hardrock after several impressive seasons with Nsingizini Hotspurs. Known for his work rate, creativity and ability to influence matches from midfield, he is expected to add quality and experience to the Hardrock engine room.


Joining him is highly-rated midfield playmaker Yekisizwe Khumalo, affectionately known as “Madumane.” Khumalo arrives in Zimbabwe with a growing reputation as one of Eswatini’s finest footballers.


The midfielder enjoyed a remarkable 2024/25 campaign, winning the MTN Premier League Player of the Season award after consistently producing outstanding performances for Nsingizini Hotspurs.

Khumalo also played a key role in guiding the club to the 2025 8Bet Trade Fair Cup title, where he was named Player of the Tournament following Nsingizini’s victory over Green Mamba in the final.

His impressive displays also earned him multiple Player of the Month awards during his time in Eswatini.
The move will see both players reunite with former Nsingizini teammates and , who are already part of the Hardrock FC squad.


Their arrival highlights Hardrock FC’s continued investment in regional talent as the club seeks to establish itself as a competitive force in Zimbabwean football.


With four former Nsingizini Hotspurs players now at the club, Hardrock will be hoping the chemistry and understanding developed in Eswatini can help drive the team forward during the remainder of the season.
