π£ TRANSFER WATCH (2ND EDITION): Nyasulu CONFIRMED to Scottland, Phiri POSTS MOVE ONLINE, While Vunga, Lameck & Manzini Rumours Dominate PSL
Transfer activity is beginning to intensify across Zimbabwean football, with clubs actively reshaping their squads ahead of the mid-season window. The latest developments include confirmed departures, a social media announcement, and several ongoing transfer rumours involving both local and regional players.
FC Platinum have confirmed the departure of midfielder Nickson Nyasulu, who is set to join Scottland FC. The club officially thanked him for his service, confirming the move as part of their squad changes ahead of the new phase of the season.
Former FC Platinum midfielder Precious Phiri has also made headlines after announcing his move to CAPS United on social media. However, the Green Machine are yet to officially unveil the midfielder, meaning the transfer remains at announcement stage rather than a formal club confirmation.
In terms of incoming activity, Malawian defender Macdonald Lameck has reportedly completed a move to ambitious PSL side Hardrock FC from Silver Strikers. The Kwekwe-based outfit is said to have secured his signature for a reported fee of around US$20,000 as they continue strengthening their squad.
Simba Bhora are also reportedly interested in Eswatini attacking midfielder Mayibongwe Smart Manzini. The player is believed to have already arrived in Zimbabwe and has been training with the club, although no official agreement has been confirmed.
CAPS United are meanwhile said to be closing in on the signing of Malawian midfielder Uchizi Vunga from Silver Strikers. Negotiations are understood to be at an advanced stage, with the player expected to arrive in Zimbabwe over the weekend to finalise discussions, although the deal is still not officially completed.
As the transfer window continues to heat up, more movement is expected across the league as clubs strengthen for the second half of the season.
