Dynamos End Ngezi Platinum’s Unbeaten Run as MWOS and Hardrock Share Spoils

Dynamos handed Ngezi Platinum their first defeat of the 2026 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season after coming from behind to secure a 2-1 victory at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday.
The Glamour Boys produced a strong second-half performance to claim all three points, with goals from Abel Gwatidzo and Moses Demera sealing the comeback win.
Ngezi Platinum, who had been unbeaten in their opening 14 matches with six wins and eight draws, started brightly and took an early lead in the seventh minute through Praise Machengete.
However, Dynamos responded well and levelled the match in the 30th minute when Gwatidzo found the back of the net to restore parity before the break.
The decisive moment came in the 70th minute when Demera scored the winner, completing a well-earned turnaround for the Harare giants.
The result moved Dynamos to 24 points, although they remained sixth on the PSL table. Despite the defeat, Ngezi Platinum stayed in third position on the standings.
Elsewhere, MWOS and Hardrock FC played out a goalless draw at Ngoni Stadium in a tightly contested encounter.
