Team Zimbabwe Names Squad for 2026 Davis Cup in Nairobi
Team Zimbabwe has confirmed the squad that will represent the nation at the 2026 Davis Cup tournament set to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, from 15 to 20 June.
The team will be led by captain Gwinyai Tongoona as Zimbabwe looks to make a strong impact against some of the continent’s leading tennis nations during the prestigious international competition.
Joining Tongoona in the travelling squad are Courtney Lock, Ronana Tisi, Zamani Tisi, Sean Tongoona, and Makanaka Tisi, forming a balanced team that combines experience and youthful talent.
The Davis Cup remains the premier international team competition in men’s tennis and provides Zimbabwe’s players with another opportunity to showcase their abilities on the regional stage while representing the national flag with pride.
The tournament will be hosted in Nairobi, Kenya, with matches scheduled between 15 and 20 June 2026. Zimbabwe will be aiming for strong performances as they continue their efforts to strengthen the country’s presence in international tennis competitions.
